Capture the Flag

 Materials Needed
-Two different colors of flags
-Cones
-Nerf balls (even number)

Rules of the Game

-2 teams (red team and yellow team)

- The goal of the game is to get all the nerf-balls into your teams’ circle. When 1 team has all the nerf-balls and the other team has 0,
  the game is over.

- The game field is divided into halves. When you are on your side of the field, you are safe; no one is allowed to pull your flag. When
you are on the other teams side of the field you are not safe, and the other team is allowed to pull your flags.

- You play both offense and defense in this game.

- While on defense, you want to defend your circle to make sure the other team is not able to come in and take your teams nerf-balls.

- While on offense, you want to be able to make it into the other teams circle without having your flags pulled. Once you are inside that
circle you are safe. You are allowed to leave the other teams circle and re-enter as many times as you need.

- You are only allowed to carry one ball at a time from the opposite teams’ circle and bring it back to your side. You are not allowed to
throw the nerd-balls to another teammate; you must run back the nerf-ball to your side of the field. If you are able to make it back to
your side of the field without having your flag pulled, you put the ball you carried into your teams’ circle.

- When you pull another teams flags off, do not throw it to the ground, hand it back to them. Also, If you pull off somebody’s flags while
they are holding a nerd-ball, they need to hand the ball back to you and you are responsible for making sure the nerf-ball gets put
back into your teams circle. After you pull the other teams flag off, you are allowed to “babysit” the player that is taking a knee.

- If you get your flag pulled off while you are on the other teams side, you keep your flags off, take a knee, and raise your hand so a
teammate can come save you.The way a teammate saves you is by touching hands with you while they still have their flags on.

- When a teammate saves you, both players must take off their flags and they have a “free pass” back to their side. They must stay
together as they go back to their side. Once back on your side of the field, put your flags back on and continue to play the game. Not
allowed to save a teammate with a nerf-ball in your hand.

- You do not have to save a teammate, but it is almost always in the best interest of you and your team to do so.

- If you just walked back to your side with a teammate after being saved and your flags are off, you are allowed to still play defense
while staying on your side of the field. Also, if there are not enough flags for every student, students do not have to wear flags and
can still play the game by being permanent defensive players. If you do have a flag to wear, it is important you put it on as soon as
   you are able.

- At no point during the game are you allowed to dive, slide, crawl, or roll around on the floor.
