Bumble Bee Tag

 Materials Needed
-Hula Hoops
-Cones
-Pool Noodles

Rules of the game

There are two different teams. One team is called the "Wasps", the other team is called the "Bumblebees"

- There will always be more Bumblebees than there are Wasps.

- The point of the game is for the Wasps to tag all the Bumblebees. Once all the Bumblebees have been tagged, or the time limit runs out, the game is over.

- The Wasps are given pool noodles which are known as the "stingers". The stingers are used to tag the Bumblebees. The students that have stingers are on the Wasps team, the students that do not receive a stinger are on the Bumblebee team.

- The Wasps may use their stingers to tag the Bumblebees anywhere on their body except for the head. If a Wasp is using too much force while tagging a Bumblebee, they will not be allowed to play as a Wasp for the rest of the game. If a Bumblebee is tagged by a Wasp, the Bumblebee takes a knee on the floor or sits down.

- While a Bumblebee is down on the floor, if another Bumblebee comes over and touches their hand, the Bumblebee that was down is now back in the game.

- A Wasp is allowed to "babysit" a Bumblebee that is down, but if they are only guarding 1 Bumblebee, they are most likely just hurting their team.

- There will be  a coned area that all players must stay within while playing the game. If a Bumblebee steps outside of this coned perimeter, they must step back into the coned area and immediately take a knee or sit down. They will then wait for another Bumblebee to tag them so they may continue to participate in the game.

- Throughout the coned area, there will be hula-hoops scattered among the floor. The hula-hoops for this game are known as "flowers"

- If a Bumblebee is able to make stand inside of a flower, they are safe and a Wasp is not allowed to sting them. Only 1 Bumblebee is allowed inside of a flower at a time.

- At anytime while a Bumblebee is inside of a flower, another Bumblebee may come up to the Bumblebee that is inside the flower and tell them to "Bee Gone" Once hearing this, the original Bumblebee that was inside the flower must leave the flower and continue to elude the Wasps.

- If a Bumblebee was just told to "Bee Gone" from a flower, they must first find rest in a different flower before returning to the flower they were just told to leave from.

- There are not enough flowers for the Bumblebees to all be safe at the same time. There will always be Bumblebees running and trying to dodge the Wasps.

- Whether the game ends because all the Bumblebees are sitting or taking a knee on the ground, or because the time limit ran out. A new game will begin and new Wasps will be chosen.

- Bumblebee's are only allowed to stay inside of a flower for 30 seconds. After the 30 seconds they need to leave and find a new flower. An instructor will give a Bumblebee a 5 second countdown before they have to leave the flower. If they are still in the flower after the 5 second countdown, the Bumblebee will act as if they were just tagged and will sit down and put their hand in the air.

- You are not allowed to save a Bumblebee while you are still inside of a flower. You have to leave the flower in order to save another Bumblebee. Once you leave the flower, you must first occupy another flower before you return to the same flower.
