Bottom Ball

 Materials Needed
-Soft foam balls
-Two buckets
-Two Chairs or desks
-Jerseys

Rules of the Game

-This game is very similar to basketball, but can be played inside a room or an auditorium.

-One team wears a similar color jersey to distinguish what team they are on.

-The game can be played with multiple balls at a time.

-The hoop can be a bucket or a trash can set up on top of a chair or a desk, so that it cannot be reached by the students when they are sitting on their bottoms.

-Players must keep their bottoms on the ground throughout the entire game.  They are allowed to scoot along the ground to get to a loose ball, but once they have the ball in their hands, they are not allowed to keep scooting.  They must stay in one place and either shoot the ball to the hoop, or pass it to a teammate.

-The other team is allowed to intercept a pass, but they are not allowed to block the person as they throw it or grab the ball from someone's hands.

-Once a ball is scored, it stays in the bucket until all the other balls are also scored.  Then, the balls are pulled out and the score tallied before starting the next round.

-If a student gets onto their knees or feet to get a ball, then the opposing team automatically gets the ball.

-Players should spread out around the room, so there are people both on the offensive side of the court and the defensive side of the court.

-The game can be played for as long as you want or until a team gets to a certain number of points.
